Before You Come to Camelot…
Frequently Asked Questions:
- Do I need to dress up in a costume for Camelot Days?
Costumes are encouraged but not required. All costumes must be family-friendly and suitable for the general public’s viewing. Check out our Costume Contest.
- What kind of costume can I wear?
Family-friendly costumes are welcome. Costume adornments and prop weapons are permitted but subject to security approval upon entry. Masks and headpieces are subject to removal upon the request of Camelot Days management at any time. Persons wearing costumes that don’t meet these criteria may be refused entry or asked to leave the festival.
- Can I bring my sword or other medieval weapon?
Any potential weapon must be peace-tied (tied in such a manner that it cannot be drawn). Our security team will peace-tie the weapon at the gate. Items that have sharpened edges are not permitted. No weapon may be drawn on another person even in jest. A violation of the weapon’s policy may result in confiscating the weapon, the violator’s removal, and possible legal ramifications.
- Can I bring my dog or pet to Camelot Days?
No, you cannot bring your pet to Camelot Days unless it is a service animal. There has been a change in Broward County policy and dogs (unless they are service animals) are no longer allowed at Camelot Days.
- Is there a parking fee?
Camelot Days does not charge a parking fee, but Broward County charges $1.50 per person (6 years & over) to enter TY Park on the weekends.
