VolunteerCamelot Days wouldn't be as magical without our wonderful volunteers!
It takes a lot of work to run a medieval faire and we couldn’t do it without our wonderful volunteers. Whether you have a costume or not, we could really use your help! We need volunteers to help in the kids’ craft area, the Quest mystery, the ticket booth, handing out programs and more. Whether you would like to help for a couple hours, a day, or all three weekends, we would love to have you.
Camelot Days, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)3, offering historically themed performing and craft arts to South Florida through the Camelot Days Medieval Festival. The annual event creates a place for folk musicians, dancers and live cultural performers to connect with South Florida’s diverse audiences. Camelot Days also creates space for craftworkers to sell handmade wares, community organizations to volunteer and attendees to be entertained and amused in the safety of a local public park.
Our need for volunteers:
From November 5 – 20, Camelot Days is held Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 am – 5:30 pm at T.Y. Park, 3300 N. Park Road, Hollywood, FL 33321. Since we are a nonprofit, we are able to provide volunteer hours for students. All ages may volunteer, but if you are in 8th grade or younger, please have a parent or guardian with you. We have different volunteer opportunities whether as a group or as an individual.
- Group Volunteers: We love working with student and community organizations. We have many volunteer opportunities including helping with the Scout Quest, children’s area, passing out programs and more. If you have a costume that is helpful but not necessary. Contact us for details. Volunteers are given community service hours and a lunch voucher (if you volunteer a full day).
- Individual Volunteers: Volunteers are needed to pass out programs, perform exit surveys, and other general things inside the festival. If you have a costume, great! If not, we can use your help anyway. Volunteers are given community service hours and a lunch voucher (if you volunteer a full day).
